I'm Canadian from Ottawa, Canada and I've travelled to many places around the world. I've been to Dubai, London and other parts of England, many parts of the U.S., Jamaica, and more. I've stayed in many 5* resorts and had a wonderful time at all of these places, but to be honest the best vacation of my life was in Costa Rica. Our plan was to travel the country and see it all in 3 weeks, our first stop was The Lazy Mon in Puerto Viejo and due to its amazing events, culture, relaxation, and atmosphere we stayed there for the full three weeks. Of all the places and resorts I've been to, The Lazy Mon is by far the greatest. The live music was a great was to truly experience Costa Rican culture and a great way to be exposed to the many talents of locals in the area. It's also easy to see how big a part of Puerto Viejo The Lazy Mon is. The caring staff and owners always made sure we were having a wonderful time and had everything we needed. To be honest we planned to leave 3 times before we could convince ourselves to actually go. That should tell anyone reading this how amazing the lifestyle is there. Without their many events and live music The Lazy Mon just wouldn't be the same, and to take this amazing place away from the many people that have yet to experience it is a true sin. Please do the whole world a favour and keep The Lazy Mon the way it is. It deserves to be highly distinguished and Costa Rica as a whole should be proud to have an establishment such as this one in their midst. Do not let this place be taken away from those who love it and those who have yet to fall in love with it. Simply put, The Lazy Mon in Puerto Viejo, CR is heaven on earth.
Lazy Mon is a staple in the PV night life. Always a good time, and one I look forward to on each visit to one of my favorite places in the world!
Lazy Mon provides an excellent venue for the presentation of live Cultural Music!
