True comic fans remember that there was more than one Green Lantern. It is for this reason that The Green Lantern (John Stewart) is often referred to as the first and only African American comic book hero. Guy Gardner, the lantern immediately after Hal Jordan (a role in which Ryan Reynolds did a great job) and immediately before Stewart is not one most remember.
