We, the undersigned, understand that the burning plastics may have given off dioxins and PCBs, which are harmful to health.
We understand testing has taken place but the Environment Agency has reported that this only tested for particulates and irritant chemicals from 4 sites surrounding the fire. We have not been told that tests for dioxins and PCBs have taken place.
We request that the appropriate authorities listen to us and test for dioxins and PCBs to fully assess the potential, if any, health risk.

The smoke smelled like straight burning plastic for days. Everyone knows that isnt good for you. Very worried for my family.
Why do they keep telling us its fine when they havent even looked for the dangerous chemicals? incompetence.
get this sorted. people in lawrence shouldnt have to live in fear because the agency is too lazy to do a proper scan.
my kids play outside down the street from this site. we deserve to know if the air is actually poison or not. do the tests now.
TOTAL LIES. they talk about particulates but ignore the real stuff. stop hiding the results from us.
