Definitely needed. I've hoped for this to happen for years. I have a mentally ill adult child.

I believe we desperately need Laura's Law in San Diego. Those with mental illness are sometimes the forgotten citizens who suffer along with their family a terrible existence.

We need this law. These folks do not belong on the streets or in our already overcrowded jails.

If this law will prevent even one instance of violence against self or others, it should be implemented.

San Diego needs to adopt Laura's law t and help many families and their loved ones suffering from mental illness. The county also needs mobile crisis team vs the ineffective PERT or IHOT resources that county has created to address the issue.

My adult daughter is homeless in San Diego and has paranoid schizophrenia. She does not believe that there is anything wrong with her mentally and will not accept her family's entreaties to get help. Laura's Law would be immensely helpful to her and to us. There is no down side to this law. It offers the ability to help mentally ill people who roam the streets and sleep under bridges before they lose all aspects of their humanity. My granddaughter needs her mother back: please pass this law. Thank you.
