This petition is to request management for extend the laundry room hours. Many of the residence work long hours, weekend hours, seven days week and go to school. Many residences have expressed their disatisfaction of the hours being reduced to 7:00a.m. - 10:00p.m. These are common school hours and working hours. Many of us work from 6:00a.m. and to not get home until after midnight between multiple jobs and school. My mother a senior citizens approached the manageress, and she reported back that the manageress was not in the bit interested of hearing the complaints tenants had. She informed my mother that nobody complained since she changed the hours a year ago. She further denied the right of having a copy of the bi-laws and refused to provide the contact name and information of the CEO or Owner of the buidling to address this issue at a higher level. My mother further reiterated the unpleasant comments and conversation that other tenants mentioned regarding the filthiness of the laudnry room, how dangerous tthe equipments are, the inhygenic way in which the equipment is kept. My mother was told to face the other way, to close her eyes and nose to avoid the inhalation of the lint and dust from the machine when operating the dryers. More than 50% of the machine are broken down and/or damaged. Such dangerous equipment could invite injury and consequently open the place to law suits and a health hazard. My mother was brushed off. The manageress told my mother that, they do not care as the equipment are coin machines and therefore non of their concern. My mother left with the request of the next board meeting to bring such serious matter to the attention of the board before it excalates unnecessarily. My mother was very disapointed that the Manageress was not pleasant and very unco-operative. respectively submitted
