For how much money we pay to go to school here we shouldn't have to pay $3 to do 1 load of laundry..

I'm paying like over 20,000$ to be at MSU. I would like to have access to free laundry. OR somewhere to exchange bills for quarters.

I lived in the residence halls for 5 years. 1 year as just a student and 4 years as an RA. I completely agree laundry needs to be included. Maybe add it on the student IDs, were students get a like 16 swipes a month. That's two loads a week washed and dried. The $1.50 per washer and $1.50 per dryer is overpriced. What exactly are we paying for anyways? Water/electricity should already be included in the housing fee. Most student are unemployed and the ones who are workin are working to pay tuition or for food and gas money.

I agree. The fact that we can only pay for laundry with quarters is quite annoying. While we can use credit cards, the card readers take FAR TOO LONG TO READ AND FORCE YOU TO SCAN AGAIN OVER AND OVER. I hate having to either wait on the credit card scanner, the broken app, or come prepared with 12 QUARTERS.

Although free laundry is a stretch, affordable (based on the average college student's budget) laundry would be nice.

That's bullcrap. With the amount you pay for tuition, you shouldn't have to pay to wash your own clothes.

It's an unfair/unreasonable price and it's ridiculous that students have to practically sell their first born child for some clean underwear. I strongly urge the appropriate party to lower the laundry fee.

I work within housing as a Resident Advisor and I can sympathize with the residents 100% about the $1.50 per load/per machine fee is outrageously high for a college student who most likely is unemployed.

Ive lived in the residence halls for 3 years now, and I have to do 2 loads of laundry a week, adding up to $6 a week. Thats a lot of money that could just come from our housing payment. I could have been saving that to pay off my loans, or get a car, or even buy food for myself.
