I, as a student of Park Hill High School find it extremely short sighted with the changes to Wednesday Late Start, I believe this is just a way to shortchange any of the average run of the mill students who havent done anything wrong by confining them to the old gym or the cafeteria. I would like to point out that the old gym has no a/c and getting over 1/2 of the student body in there is a very unthoughtful decision as the old gym is not nearly large enough to hold or sustain that many students for a whole hour, not to mention that late start takes place early in the morning and most if not all the students are irritable at this time of the morning and this crowded environment will spark hostilites and maybe even fights. I hope you take this petition into consideration of all of these students' concerns over this decision.
