Aligning all the start times so that all children leave the house at a reasonable time that coincides with their natural sleep cycle makes perfect sense. Please start school later for Middle and Highschool and earlier for Elementary school.

Thanks for considering this important change that will make getting a healthy amount of rest, and thus learning, easier for our children.

I support a later start for BMS and BHS students as evidenced through adolescent sleep studies. This correlates with local health and wellness initiatives

The science is perfectly clear that late start is better for students and staff. Let's follow suit.

I'm in the hardest freshman math class in the world and I would like it much better if I could stay up late but wake up late

I hope the Board of Education and the community can support the input 220 and Administration of the High School in making a later start time possible.

Claire, a junior, has 1st & 2nd hour off this year. I can't express what a huge difference it has made in every aspect of her life, not just grades. Grades are up big time, rocked the ACT, excited/not stressed about college, less sickness, athletics improved, never tired, energetic, etc. She said she'd be happy to speak about how less stressed and mentally awake she is at school because of her 9:00 start time. I'm not guessing, like a lot of people, on how it will or won't make an impact - I'm personally experiencing it and I'm telling you "It's real!"

If my kids were to get on the buss they would need to be out of our house by 5:55 am. With sports and homework not getting to bed until after 10. This makes sense...
