We live in East Oakland. The closest food source to us, without a car, is 711 or the Chinese food at the gas station across the street. If it's midnight, you have no food in your dorm, no reliable form of transportation that makes you feel safe at night, a paper due in the morning, and a grumbling stomach, what are your options? The Tea Shop or Founders, right? WRONG. Both of these food sources are only open limited hours of the day, definitely not late night hours, and certainly don't come cheap. Wouldn't it be nice if, like almost all other college campuses, we had a late night eatery on campus that is affordable, and would allow us to get some food in our stomachs when we're broke or only have enough money for the vending machines?

All of the traditional residence halls have unused dining halls. Why couldn't we have a late night eatery there? Mills responds to its students' needs! Let's let the staff know that this is something that the students would not only use, but would benefit from as well!
