The management company has officially agreed to cease these charges and acknowledge the transfer of responsibilities to the council. Final supporters
When a transfer of ownership occurs, the responsiblity of insurance, drainage, pathways, parking, lighting, vermin control and large open green spaces passes to the council
The management company have failed to inform the residents of Latchford of this change
They have also failed to alter the budget and reduce the fees to reflect this
Management companies were abolished for housing estates by our current government but unfortunately there has been no retrospective legislation put in place to protect residents such as ourselves
I urge you to sign this petition and stop paying a fee for a service that you are not receiving and that is already covered under your normal taxes
lets, together, stop the corruption and bring community back into our housing estates

lets put pressure on fisher and co and reduce or get rid of these fees. what do we pay our taxes for
Words such as accountability,transparency and integrity , apparently do not apply to the managing agents!
I went in to pay some of the fee and I asked the mgt co how long it would be till council took over and fees stopped. She said to me: "these things can take years"!!
Ah forgot about this, the Mayor of Fingal called round one evening late last year and did mention that the Council would be taking charge of Latcford but that there were still issues that needed to be addressed as to what would still be under the role of the management company but inevitable it should be far reduce our management fees, Just disgusted now that we have already forked up the and paid the full 2014 fees.
Thanks for setting this up. Crazy situation where we're expected to pay the mgt company for an estate where the council have taken over.

I too have been paying astonishingly high management fees for years, it's time it stopped, buying my house and now property tax is more than enough.
