the mass deletion of user data and social connectivity with no warning is unconscionable. the new design removes all that was useful about the site in service to a look and feel out of sync with the desires of the vast majority of the userbase. can I at least please have my journals back before I delete my account over this?

What have you done? Can't play anything anymore, I have lost my memories.....none of my music will play. Please put it back to how it was.

I used to rely on this website to recommend gigs in my local area, it was really helpful. Now I can't even change the location of the events list, let alone show personal recommendations. What a terrible update, they've really screwed the pooch with this one. I can easily see a lot of users never coming back to last.fm if they don't resolve these issues soon.

I can't believe how dull and poor the new last fm is become. I don't feel to continuing to use it longer. That's the sad end of 8 years of a nice story that turned bad.

Take a website that's working, popular and useful.
Get an 8 year old to redesign it into something that's clunky, broken and no longer fit for purpose. Make sure that all the things that regular users curated on their profiles no longer appear or work.
Wonder why people complain about it.
I will be actively boycotting any advertisers that appear on the new site and will be letting them know why where/when I can.

Terrible revamp. It feels like I've loaded up a clunky mobile site on my desktop.
Don't want to imagine how many man-hours were wasted on this garbage.

Recently I finally passed 100,000 scrobbles after joining in 2007 and but being a complete ghost for nearly three of those years. Wanted to celebrate it somehow the way I used to celebrate minor things with last.fm friends, but now...meh. Instead, all I could think of to do was become an UNSUBSCRIBER and kill the monthly subscription fee. What's left to subscribe to?

It really sucks big time. What's the point of scrobbling ,if you can't see your friend's activity or they can't see yours. Pathetic UI
