User of Last.fm since 2009. Always been happy with the service. But they threw away pretty much everything that was good with this update. I think the new site is ugly and it's also pretty broken; launched with features missing. It's just horrible in every possible way.

This ugly broken site has been forced upon the many loyal subscribers and users despite overwhelmingly negative feedback. It's parallels to the forced changes to youtube and integration with google+ are not unnoticed. CBS have incrementally destroyed the best music site on the web the same way.

You took what made Lastfm unique, useful and friendly and made it complete garbage, now it looks like any other "google-connected-tablets-touchpad" shitty website. Don't even know if I'll use my account anymore, I feel so fucking disapointed by what you did.

I sure do love not having a top artists chart on my profile and instead having a grid of my top five artists that I can't change. Also, no sidebar and custom text is REALLY cool. I sure do give a fuck about "trending artists" on the front page. And my friends list disappearing in favour of "followers" and "following" is my favourite feature because I really love to "follow" people's music tastes. That's a real thing that people do for sure.
