The beta design is obviously not yet ready to launch and misses lots of functionalities. Don't run with something until it's ready.

I was getting on yesterday but the day I am gone through the same crop that I was gone through the first day
if these guys where working GM we would just be getting set belts in are cars GM only takes a hour to change
to a newer system and have it running these morons need to get out of the play pen and get there shit together
can't finf spotify but it brings it up hope these guys can find there way home

This new site is horrible, and removes many of the features that made it so good to begin with. Now it is just another *same-same* "sharing" site, and because of that, it will go down.

last.fm was one of my favourite websites but now it's just a pile of dog shite. In Finland we have this expression called "Pitäkää tunkkinne". These words I give to you from the bottom of my heart.

This is a horrible step for last.fm and removes everything that made this site unique and purposeful. I have been a user for over a decade (May 2005) but these changes will cause me to abandon the site unless they are reversed. Why destroy the only aspects of the site that makes it unique? Look at the feedback thread. It is overwhelmingly negative. No one likes the site being ruined; the loyal users will jump ship and there is literally nothing to attract anyone new since you've removed all the useful and unique features from the website.
Simply put, I used Last.fm/Audioscrobbler for a reason; the new changes have eliminated that reason.
