Legalize lane splitting in the state of Texas to increase rider safety, reduce traffic congestion, reduced emissions, and incentivize the use of motorcycles which will further decrease congestion, emissions, and fuel demands. I'm starting this petition, as a motorcycle rider, to allow increase rider control over his/her environment and reduce injuries/deaths related to rear end collisions with motorcycles and to incentivize motorcycle usage to decrease traffic congestion, emissions, and lower fuel cost.

Living in Austin traffic is a nightmare. splitting keeps us out of the way of distracted drivers who are always looking at their phones instead of the road. just let us move already.
