No! If this is able to happen what stops developing on the rest of the park? It’s a natural area and could cause more flooding. Not to mention what everyone has said..nothing stated about ever developing and given to city as park. Wonder whose pocket or back door deal is being done here??!?

The land was initially acquired by NAS to prevent the extension of the Marshview point development. The property was sold to VB for a PARK not multi-family residential buildings. The deed actually states that human habitation is expressly PROHIBITED!

Let us not ruin the beauty of the park! Get your added tax revenue elsewhere!

This is awful. Would totally degrade the neighborhood. Flooding, traffic, parking, emergency service access are all major concerns. This area was all supposed to be a park after the Navy sold it to the city. Should remain open green space.

As a homeowner in Lands End it's appalling that this is even a consideration by the city of Virginia Beach. I feel like we were lied to when we were asked to support the new Saltmarsh Park as NOWHERE in those plans were there new homes mentioned.
