Petition for the Induction And Enshrinement Of Coy Bacon into The Professional Football Hall Of Fame copy # 2

Coy was one of the most fearsome pass rushers of all-time.John Turney (Pro Football Researcher's Association) reviewed years of film and credited Coy with 130 QB sacks (13th All Time). In 2000, SI writer Paul Zimmerman ranked Coy as the 10th best pass rusher of all time. He still holds the single season sack records for the Bengals and Redskins. And, of course, there's the matter of those 26 sacks in 1976. If memory serves me correct, he once sacked Joe Namath four times in one game.

I taught at Kingsbury and Coy Bcon was always so nice to my class. He would visit with the kids and they were so excited to have his attention.

Watching Coy when he was with the Bengals at Riverfront I would love for him to become the second Bengal to gain admittance to the Hall.

I worked with Coy several years. I thought that he was a great guy.

Coy and I played football together for the Iron boys club in the 50's. coy was a good man, always put others first.

Please induct Coy Bacon into the NFL Hall of fame

Please induct Coy Bacon into the Professional Football Hall of Fame.

Coy's record speaks for itself. Coy cared for people especially the young. He had a deep desire to help young men and women find GOD, and live a productive life. He may not make it to the football hall of fame, but he is in GOD's hall of fame.

Please put Coy in the Hall...

Would like Coy Bacon to be petitioned for the Induction and Enshrinement to the Professional Football Hall of Fame!

Coy belongs in the HOF not just because of a remarkable career but for being a member of the famous "Fearsome Foursome" of the Los Angeles Rams with Rosey Greer,Decon Jones, and Jack Youngblood.....Man they were one of the greatest defensive lines ever put together in the NFL...

Coy Bacon earned his way into the Hall of Fame, and deserve to be enrolled.

All of the Fearsome Foursome deserve recognition. I was fortunate enough to watch him play football and basketball in high school.
