I've met Coy numerous times in his hometown of Ironton, Ohio. Home of the Fighting Ironton Tigers. A very good man and friend. Always the same every time you meet him. Induction long over due.

Easily one of the greatest DL to ever play the game. It is a shame that Coy's stats and contributions to the game of football (at all levels) has yet to be recognized by the NFL.

Papaw Coy was a wonderful man. He got all of us kids in the neighborhood into church, took us on trips, threw pool parties and gave us a safe place to be kids and kept us out of trouble. He was a wonderful human.

After his retirement he worked at the Ohio Youth Center I was was there for 4 years and he would take us outside and throw a football around with us kids. He was the most loved worker there and had a heart of gold. I miss him soooo much.

I fully support the induction of Coy Bacon into the NFL Football Hall of Fame. Not only was he a Hall of Fame quality pro football player, he is a saint on the Jesus Christ team!

I watched Coy in high school and the Pros, he graduated with my sister. Coy accomplished a lot in the pros. With his accomplishments he is very deserving to be placed in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
