Coy Bacon was a light to the community and to the younger generation in Ironton, Ohio. He would speak at area church's encouraging them not to do drugs. He would share his testimony.

Mr.Coy as we called him was and awesome man . I remember how he took his big championship ring and put a quarter through it to show us that his fingers were huge.Mr.Coy even allow us to put it on our fingers when we were little girls. And I also remember being a cheerleader me and my cousins over in the Ironton Ohio Parade , while he rode in a car.Those days were Awesome.
