Lander University Internet Needs to be Improved.

I will look into this important issue today and get back to you with a plan to resolve this problem. I apologize that you are having to struggle with access to a reliable internet as you try to focus on your studies. As you can imagine, running a university is a very complex endeavor. Many things can go wrong and always at the worse time. However, making sure that you have an excellent experience at Lander is my top priority. My internet will randomly crash. And the only time I have access is inside the buildings. If I'm walking between buildings or sitting outside in the sun enjoying the nice day, I have to work without internet. This means I am unable to access certain documents or my textbooks that are necessary for my schoolwork.

This needs to have happened years ago and still hasn't been done.

We need better Internet not just for Netflix, but to actually do school work without spending so much time struggling with the Internet.

It is the most frustrating thing to be working on a quiz and getting kicked out, especially when your professor doesn't want to reset it for you because their syllabus includes to only take the quiz if you have a reliable internet connection... Students can't help that the internet we pay for isn't up to par. This has been an ongoing issue, that really needs to be brought to the top of Lander's To-Do list.

The internet is the worst that I have known it to be in the past three years. It's ridiculous and needs a fix and quick. Assignments need to be done and without reliable connectivity it talks twice as long to get anything done

As someone who lives on campus I understand that the internet isn't going to be top notch. However, I have been kicked out of quizzes both on my laptop AND the computers in the lab because the internet either shuts off or forces me a page back, which closes the quiz. Some professors are good about working around this but in some classes I have lost points simply because of this. Now I just go somewhere off campus to do classwork and take quizzes/exams.

Would love to have internet easy and fast to use. I feel like it's easier to go to another friend's apartment off campus rather than go to the library or even stay in my room. Something needs to be done!

When I come the Lander to work on assignments, I would like it to be working and not going out randomly

Trying to submit assignments is a nightmare when web pages won't load. The wifi speed has gotten only worse since last summer. This desperately needs to be fixed.

When I can't get my work done because the internet is so slow, there is a problem.

Lander's internet is trash. It can take half an hour to download a PDF. When you consider that a huge majority of my school-work is online, you can see how an unreliable connection hurts my productivity.

It's seriously ridiculous, and should've been fixed by now. Work nights and weekends if you have to but seriously you need to do something
