Landcom must provide Macarthur Heights residents alternative during pedestrian bridge closure

We really need alternative way to train station

Pls either give us an equally convenient alternative route to the square or keep the bridge

It is unacceptable or land on to close the footbridge and force pedestrians to find their own access. This will prove dangerous as there is no road access to Macarthur Station via Macarthur Heights and no bus services currently service the area. Landcom must provide an alternative.

Stop the closure or an provide alternative practical solution!

This will impact the life of every resident in MacArthur Heights especially all the kids and adults who are relying on train for school and work. Landcom need invest time and effort to find a solution to do the earthwork without impacting bridge.

More effort is needed by Landcom to come up with a solution than this

The access to station is only via the bridge ans with no public transport for the community, it’s unfair to close the bridge without providing us the other suitable immediate alternative. More than 80% of teh community rely on the access for train and buses from MacArthur for work and kids for school. With both parents working, the closing of teh bridge would be completely unfair

Against the closing of pedestrian bridge as there is no alternative.

It doesn’t make any sense to close the pathway where the next shortest pathway is over the bridge on Narellan road, more than an hour walk. There is no bus within the area.

Landcom should give road for residents to use station.

I am the resident of Macarthur heights. I need access bridge to go train station . It is essential to catch train to go my office.

Please make sure to provide necessary alternative prior closing pedestrian bridge to Macarthur stn, shopping mall and other amenities. Any sort of developments are Welcome But Only with careful consideration of day to day life of current residents.

We need alternative options if this pedestrian crossing is closed.

Such a massive project flaw from such a large developer

Alternative solutions to use Train station. Because I am using this Macarthur station daily basis. And it is early morning like 4 am.

We do not accept the closing of the pedestrian access. We want proper alternative to all people elderly, parent and children with prams students including cyclists.

We need access to the station and shops from MacArthur heights. There are no buses in our estate so my children can’t even get to and from school.

This access is used by hundreds of residents and has been sales argumentation. Is it even legal to be removed?

Please don’t close our only access to MacArthur station and MacArthur square
