people need to have a space to call their own and grow their own veg, i am 57 yrs old and only recently started to grow my own veg and its great dont know why i never did it before, it gives you a sense of pride seeing the seeds you planted grow.

I completely agree, the huge waiting list for allotments in Glasgow is proof if any is needed that there is a need a demand and a shortage of land for food production for families

I had some success with wood core beds last year and plan to experiment on the Elder Farm Govan project this year
one giant tyre filled with 20% manure 20% compost 20% leaves and 40% wood cuts some burnt produced a plethora of giant squash right through past first frosts and survived through to day 20 without need for water during the 23 day hot spell
would it hurt our economy to invite the unemployed to experiment with permaculture techniques
