Lancer is a great show' and deserves to be released on DVD!!!

Lancer amongst a host of sixties western series not available on dvd when will the tv companies realise the fan base for these programmes are people like myself who watched them as kids who are now in their fifties and older and would like to watch them in there full glory than dodgy copies on youtube we wont be around forever please hurry up and release them

Tuesday night, 8 pm I was a teen of 13 watching Johnny and Scott fight for their ranch, father and what was good. Gritty, tender, suspenseful and humorous at times. I've been wishing for my own set of this series since my first ,er, beta max. Please, for the tween I once was.

I loved this show as a kid. I’d buy it in a heartbeat when it becomes available. I think it’s WAY BETTER than Bonanza ever was.

Such a shame that James Stacy is gone now so we will never get his comentrary if they do release it. He had more grit than 10 men after what happened to him.

Hollywood" devotees, who are dying to add to and broaden their knowledge of "Lancer" and Johnny Madrid, Johnny Lancer and Scott Lancer -- the UNIQUE inspiration for key elements of Quentin Tarantino's movie. (With respectful apologies for the exclusion of Murdoch Lancer (Andrew Duggan) and Teresa O'Brien (Elizabeth Baur).)

Please release LANCER on dvd. I have researched and read so many great things about this fantastic timeless series with a fantastic cast of Andrew Duggan James Stacey and Wayne Maunder. I would be the first to buy the series if you would release it.

Please give us the dvds for this wonderful Lancer series. It shows, more than any tv series I've ever seen, the brotherlove that evolves from men who began their relationship with disgust, anger and frustration with each other. The actors put so much extra detail in the subtle way they begin to adjust, then appreciate with curiosity, then finally deeply love one another. It's so real, I just can't get enough of it. (And I'm only seeing it on Youtube, until the reruns begin again.) Again, Please.

I used to watch Lancer with my dad as a child. I had forgotten about it until it started again @ 5am on H&I(Hero's and Icons). I would record it EVERY DAY and watch it in the evening. I had 47 of the episodes recorded and saved on my DVR. Suddenly, H&I stopped showing it. I was/am devastated. I tried to find it on video. Found out the series WAS NOT on video. I was astonished, to say the least! THIS TV series needs to be put out on vidio!!! Its a wholesome family Western that teaches you good lessons. There is THE RIFLEMAN, HAVE GUN, WILL TRAVEL out on video. LANCER should be added to these western collections too. My ComcastDVRstarted to Randomly DELETED my saved LANCER episodes and now I only have 5 left to watch. Iam heartbroken over the loss of these Rediscovered favorites from my childhood. PLEASE PUT LANCER OUT ON DVD...NOW.

I LOVED this western!!! It broke my heart when I learned it was not returning for season #3! I don’t know who the powers-that-be were listening to but it certainly wasn’t the western television viewing population! It was a GREAT show that was different than the normal western! The writers had 5 characters to use as a focal point when showcasing their writing talents or they did an awesome job when they brought all five characters together in a story! Great acting, great writing and AN AMAZING backstory for each character and the setting was EXCELLENT!!! The show’s musical score was absolutely perfect! I wish I could return to the days of when these two seasons were present time (with a tv/DVR)!!! I miss Lancer!!!

I think you will find that there is a wide range of fans old and new alike who would love to purchase quality DVDs of the epic show called "Lancer." It is time to release them for production. I grew up loving westerns. Clint Walker's "Cheyenne" series was released years ago before his death, and it is a shame that all the actors of "Lancer" did not get to see their release of the epic show they graced on the screen for two seasons before their deaths. It is time - especially after 51 going on 52 years now since its airing! The fact that you cannot purchase the two seasons 51 episodes formatted in pristine professionally released quality is unfathomable. American audiences and around the world certainly would want this. You, therefore, without question or debate, should release these DVDs for market buyers like me and others. Why are you not letting this happen is beyond me! Moreover, this show will be admired by new western fans as well as the older generations who grew up with these classic iconic roles as Johnny Madrid Lancer is a multifaceted and multilayered character role as well as the dynamics of the Lancer family for any mature English or film study class to analyze and simply enjoy. The background scenes, the music, the script, the storylines, the themes, the conflicts, the motifs, the exceptional acting of the specific characters are bar none one of the best-case studies of a true western show could offer in any time it was aired and produced - an appreciation for its merits that any generation would love to get their hands on! Furthermore, every other western show in this time period seems to have been professionally produced and is out on the market on DVDs. Why not "Lancer"? It is worth every effort and the means to make this happen immediately! I believe Germany has released the DVDs of "Lancer" as of January 2024, so America what are you waiting for? An ENGLISH VERSION on DVDs of this superb show is what is NEEDED AS WELL AS WANTED BY

I do not understand after 51 years (now going on 52 years) since Lancer first aired that a professionally licensed in pristine quality formatting and expansive wide distribution of DVDs have not been released. I see that Germany has released the DVDs as of January 2024. Why not America in the English language version? It is beyond me to comprehend how this could be even true! You can pretty much buy any other iconic western shows from this time period - extensively offered and sold out on the market in brand name stores and across the internet. Even Cheyenne was released before Clint Walker died to be purchased of his entire seven season shows. I not only signed that petition to make it happen, but also, I have all the seven seasons on DVDs. So, I, therefore, wonder why not Lancer - for all these actors or actresses that starred as primary character roles on this superb show are deceased. It is a crying shame that they did not see their acting roles as graced upon the screen so well-executed to be released professionally on DVDs before their passings. Furthermore, fans of old and new alike would appreciate the character roles of these iconic figures; for any mature English and/or film study classes would love to analyze the themes, motifs, character roles like Johnny Madrid Lancer to name one so multilayered, conflicts, plot structure, music value, family dynamics of the interesting and diverse roles played by all the Lancer men and the ward, Teresa, etc. It is time to release these iconic episodes on DVDs for either mere enjoyment, analysis study, and/or for ALL of LANCER LIVES ON FANS from the past, present, and future audiences to come!
