Would love to have a gym in Lancelin..We have no other place near by to exercise..Especially for older people..This would be great for the whole community and surrounds..

As a local of 20 years I can really see the feasibility of a community gym for myself and others in keeping fitter and healthier for the older and younger generation. Also have often been asked in my line of work by visitors to the town if there was a local gym available.

I’m a suffer if lower chronic back pain and lived here for a couple of years. I used a gym in Perth to keep my weight down but coming up here there aren’t any closest on is GinGin or Yanchep. I also need this community gym for my mental health and well-being in which I think the whole town and surrounds do. It would be beneficial to all.

As a local Physiotherapist working in the Lancelin Medical Centre running my practice Fisio Frame, there is nothing more I’d love to see than a local gym in Lancelin made available to residents using secure key card access, like the Community Gym in Moora. For those that are not sporting orientated or retired from social sports, this is a must for people to maintain health and well being, especially given the wind and weather can deter those from seeking outdoor movement opportunities.
