One of my brothers swam for Lan. I was a manager for the team. He was one of the most genuinely nice human being I have ever had the pleasure to meet.

My 2 children swam on the WHS team throughout high school. Lan was an inspiration to them and to us and I can think of no better way to honor his memory than to place his name on the pool.

I fully support the Aquatic Center being named in honor of Lan O'Loughlin. He did so much to promote the sport of swimming in our community and of the need of a recreation center. It would be a fitting legacy.
