Father Joe is a solidifying prescence in our community. His desire to bring people from all walks together has made St. Mary home for many people. Without him much will be lost...this community will suffer...

Sad to see what has happened to religion. And it's all become a business to make money.... who's spending it? SAVE St. Mary's. I'm not a member, but this church reaches out to so many in our communities in the tri-State area. Good luck to all!!

We need to save our small parishes. They are the heart of the community. I grew up attending this church and was married here. It just can't close.

Father Joe has been an asset to the community as well as the church. He has significantly improved the inter-faith relations. The programs he has held at St. Mary's church such as Tenebrae and concerts have helped grow the parish.

I do not go to St Mary's but I have come to know Father Joe when he comes in to the Sharon Pharmacy. I have attended a couple of his services (funerals mostly). He is a kind, sincere and beautiful priest and person and I consider him a dear friend. It would be a terrible loss to St Mary's and the community to lose such an honored, revered and loved person.

I grew up in St. Mary's Church and it was a staple part of my childhood. My father served on the parish council for many year's and helped with financial matters. While I am no longer a member of the congregation it is so clear to me that Father Joe is held in the highest esteem by all if his friends, colleagues and parishioners. If Father were to leave, it would be a huge loss to the community. Please keep him here.

Saint Mary's church is extremely important in the northwest corner and people from all different states come to see and hear Father Joe's masses. Please allow Father Joe to stay in Lakeville, He is a very important person both at the church level and the town level.
