The PSP clearly names Tim Miller as the next Pastor for Lakeview Church. The BOE has confirmed the plan. To not proceed will create division in the church. I vote to move forward with the PSP.

Tim knows Lakeview better than anyone. We know Tim better than anyone. His prior work is a recommendation which cannot be surpassed and should not be undervalued. Delay in implementing the PSP will violate prior process, invite division, undermine confidence in the Board, and extend the transition period. The negatives in delay are demonstrable and the advantages, if any, are uncertain. Lakeview needs certainty.

With supreme confidence in the Lord’s sovereignty, 10 years of knowing and loving Lakeview, and 12 years of brotherhood with Tim Miller. The Lord has undoubtedly prepared and called Tim to this position. It is obnoxiously and patently obvious.

We are blessed to have Tim. I believe that we can really have a great impact for Christ with him at the helm. I will help “hold his arms up”.

Praying for unity and a smooth transition for LC. That we might once more be about God’s work as HIS church.
