This petition is a directive to the board by the majority of Homeowner's at Lakeside Condominiums calling for the immediate removal of VanGuard as our property management company. Although no reasons have to be given, the board needs to understand in no uncertain terms the feelings of the homeowners. The homeowners are currently shouldering more and more of the daily responsibilities to maintain our community, and yet, our assessments continue to rise. Our fiscal responsibilities under VanGuard for the last three years have never been met. Finally, the lack of customer service has been falling on "deaf" ears whenever concerns are raised to the board. The board must act in the best interest of ALL the homeowners. This petition will serve as a directive to the board to focus on two issues and two issues only between now and the next board election in November. #1 - Reduce the operatiing budget in order to lower assessments in any and all means necessary. #2 - Act on opportunities that will improve our overall property values. Any attention by the board on any other issues will be considered a lack of understanding for the severity of the situation that the homeowners are facing and will be reflected in the next board election.
