Given the proximity of other similar establishments with liquor licenses such as the Agua Tapas bar and the Bear Estate I don't see how there should be an issue.

I agree that the Lakeside Seafood & Grill should be entitled to obtain a liquor licence and see no problem to do so; either legally or morally.

I am very much looking forward to enjoying an alcoholic beverage with my meal at the only lakeside restaurant in Collingwood. I believe this to be a great benefit and cannot understand this being a problem for the City of Collingwood.
