Red tape it makes them feel important.
All good restaurants need a liquor license how else could they compete.

Definitely in support of a liquor licence for this restaurant. Cannot imagine why any governing body would oppose this. The setting of this restaurant overlooking the water is perfect for a romantic dinner or an outing with good friends. Would love to know their reasoning.

A waterfront restaurant is long overdue and what is a restaurant without a liquor license.

I can't believe there is resistance to this liquor license. Wake up Collingwood Council! This is 2016 not prohibition. The facility has had a license for 3 years int the Tapas Bar.

We do not see any harm in having liquor for sale in the new restaurant,
Most people enjoy a drink with there lunch or dinner.
I have stayed at the resort many times and have yet to see a problem arising from the sale of liquor from any of their license locations.
In my opinion the license should be granted.

Appropriately equipped with selling liquor in this exquisite restaurant will be enhancing Collingwood overall and as an owner at Cranberry condo, I consider it a great thing for both residents as well as Collingwood visitors.

Many restaurants in Collingwood have opened and have had no problems obtaining liquor licences, so why now? It time for locations such as this one ,on the waterfront, to have this licence. Who is against this ? The local newspaper should out the dissenters.

It is a restaurant .... It's a business... Liquor is a must to attract the clientele. Those against it needs to realize that drinking is a personal choice ... Be wise .
Good luck on getting the license and invite me once it is done .
