Any person with a canine companion knows that dogs are emotional creatures. And while walks on leash help a dog and its human get some exercise, being off-leash, socializing with other dogs, and the human-to-human companionship improves dog and human interactions. 

I believe that a dog park at El Dorado Lakes, would substantially improve our community for dog people and everyone else. Dogs (and their humans) that are well socialized are friendlier, better behaved and healthier!

Dog parks offer many benefits:

1. Exercise both you and your pet

2. Improve your pet’s behavior

3. Provide a place for dog owners and their dogs to socialize

4. Preserve green space

5. Help deter crime

And plus they are incredibly FUN! 

All those who sign are in favor of bringing a dog park to El Dorado Lakes in place of at least one of the existing tennis courts
