I think it's time someone started a petition to get a stop sign (at the least) put in at the entrance to Lake Elementary in Oceanside, CA. I have been a mom of Lake Elementary students for over 6 years. Every morning and every afternoon, as we all proceed in line to drop off and pick up our children, we are hoping to make it in and out safely. The traffic is going full force in 3 directions with everyone pulling for their position to turn in and out of the school. There are also vehicles that are not part of the school procession speeding through the intersection with no regard for other vehicles or children. There have been many traffic collisions at this sight. We all need to come together for our childrens safety and get the City of Oceanside to see this as an immediate concern.
