Petition to allow/permit residents of Lake Carol to fish in our lake following The Florida Fishing and Wildlife Conservation guidelines

Dear fellow residents of Lake Carol, as of recent , we received a call from the management company of which was saddening and disappointing. Our son along with other lake carol residents, have been instructed they will no longer be allowed/permitted to enjoy our beautiful lake and its attributions such as conservation catch and release fishing. We have been loyal , supporting and up to date lake carol residents for 4 years and have never once had any issues with catch & release fishing. We respect the fishing catch and release conservation rules and have never witnessed any other resident in violation of such rules or violating our lake in any way. In addition to, we hold active Florida Fishing and Wildlife licenses of which guidelines and rules are set forth in order to maintain and active license.
In addition to, earlier in the moth of April, The Town of Miami Lakes coordinated and supported a Catch and Release Fundraiser for our hometown Veteran Hero's within our community lake grounds. The town of Miami Lakes supports the Florida Fishing and Wildlife Catch and Release fishing conservation.
We have proposed the below to the board to be presented at the May 18th, 2022 board meeting in all efforts to maintain the way ALL Lake Carol residents may enjoy the lake as well as continue its maintenance.
1. All / Any Lake Carol residents that wish to enjoy and follow the Florida Fishing & Wildlife Catch & Release fresh water fishing conservations rules must register a valid Florida Fishing and Wildlife license with the board. At which point the board will discuss the rules and guidelines. The Florida Fishing and Wildlife licenses allows and permits any active license holder to fish within any body of water, both fresh and salt, though out the State of Florida.
2. Anyone found violating the Florida Fishing and Wildlife Catch & Release Fishing Conservation rules will be fined.
3. The Florida Fishing and Wildlife license expire yearly ; therefore , a new license must be active with the board on a yearly bases.
4.Stocking the lake with specific algae eating fish to help the algae sprouting season during the summer / hot months.
5.Providing Lake Carol Community residents education pamphlets regarding the benefits and solutions of algae spouting to our lake and lake life.
6.Establishing a monthly "Lake Clean up Day" for volunteer hours.
7 Posting of signage throughout the community stating "Resident Only Conservation Catch & Release Fishing Permitted with active Fishing License. Any non-resident violating Lake Carol fishing rules will be fined" and a 2nd Signage " NOTICE: Catch and Release Fishing ONLY"
We are asking our fellow Lake Carol residents for your help, support and suggestions as a community. Catch & Release Fishing is a healthy and positive hobby for any young child, teen or adult. For this privilege, that is approved and supported by the State of Florida and the Town of Miami Lakes to be banded from our community is saddening for all our residents.
We, the undersigned, is/are Lake Carol Resident(s) who agree and are not opposed to allowing Lake Carol Residents to continue to fish in our lake while following the Florida Fishing and Wildlife catch and release conservation and register an active / valid Florida Fishing License with the Lake Carol Board and maintain such license.
