Residents of a La Grande, Oregon neighborhood, want to have a sex offender removed from the neighborhood. This sex offender was placed in a neighborhood not only close to a park named Candy Cane Park but also Eastern Oregon Headstart and Willow School. The Offender: Wayne Lee Hinze has the following charges: Rape I, Sex Abuse I and Sodomy I attempt. The victim was a 14 year old girl. He was released into the neighborhood within 5 blocks of where she lives. He is around a lot of kids in the neighborhood, Parents and kids are scared to walk near his place of residence. There is a school bus stop right across from where he lives.
