Recently, American University students have seen the name of our institution harmed by the actions of President Benjamin Ladner. The irresponsible actions and poor judgment shown by President Ladner have undermined recent progress and threatens to derail potential for future growth. We, the students of American University hereby place our motion of no confidence in the leadership and judgment of Benjamin A. Ladner. We urge the Board of Trustees to: 1.Call for the resignation of Benjamin A. Ladner as President of the University. 2.Ensure repayment of all excessive and investigation related expenses by Mr. Ladner. 3.Allow undergraduate, graduate and law students a voting member on the board of trustees to express the concerns and needs of the student body. No matter the outcome of pending investigations the admission of poor judgment and mismanagement by President Ladner as well as the harm done to the University
