This is ridiculous. I'm getting my phone confiscated for texting my parents in a school hallway. Definetley a smart move La Chat, good job.

It's ironic how in the year when they put mandatory computers they tell us we should use less electronics

Yeah this is absurd. If I want to be antisocial then that's my right. The school is here to teach me, not to be my parent.
Furthermore, half of the conversations we enjoy having in the cafeteria are only enhanced with our phones, when we can check facts and other info with the use of our phones.

Read the academic papers surrounding BYOL and you will see the school is failing at this policy due to a lack of education of teachers and direction.
