I’m glad that there is finally a concerted attempt to push back on this ludicrous ideology that has been allowed to permeate through society unnoticed by most people. Woman fought hard for our rights and spaces and will not just let them go to validate the delusions of a few men

I'm glad to support the campaign to ensure that Labour representatives at all levels of government honour the sex-based rights of women. More widely, it's crucial for society that we maintain the principles of openness to and respect for a wide range of political opinions, including those of gender-critical feminists.

I have been in the Labour Party for 27 years. I am considering leaving because of their obsession with gender as a feeling rather than supporting women as a biological sex group with all that entails. I am not planning to vote Labour again unless they offer some level of support to women instead of the hostility which many are experiencing at the moment.

Although I have started to challenge my primarily female colleagues on their pro-trans / anti female position - and indeed we are having a respectful debate - I am still fearful of having my name out there in public. I also have two young trans nephews who I don't want to alienate. Catherine

The Labour party actually made me stop voting for them due to their extremely sinister ideological capture by the trans extremists. I won't vote for them until they swear on the lives of their loved ones that they'll adhere to this declaration. Even then I'm not sure I can trust them; the fact that they did it in the first place is enough for me. We shouldn't have to explain this to them!!!!!

Safe spaces for girls and adult human females are protected under law. This in no way undermines the rights of other groups to have their own spaces.

I left Ealing CLP over antisemitism, I've stayed away over gender ID. I've voted Labour at every election since 1970 but I doubt if I'll ever vote again. I don't trust the present Labour Party, they change direction too quickly, too easily.

The Labour Party ignores women at its own peril, many of us will not vote Labour if they don't prioritise protecting women against self ID. Predators cannot be prioritised over single sex spaces and fairness in sports. Trans rights cannot overwrite the laws that protect women and girls in the equalities act. Stonewall is run by Peter Tatchell who believes that small legally underage children can consent to sex, proof of this exists in film document and interview, so why does he have the say over institutional decisions that vitally impact the safety of women and children? In many experts opinion, people who work with sexual violence and in refuges as well as DV share the same fear that men's rights are being prioritised over women's rights to safety. According to home office statistics trans women's patterns for sexual offences is identical to that of male patterns . Labour needs to wake up and look at facts not feelings on this issue and protect women!

I feel strongly that we fought our whole lives for these rights and I’m so pleased I can now find a Labour group that agrees. Until I saw this petition I believed only the Tories and right wing or religious groups supported single sex women’s rights.
