Failing to understand women's social standing as a form of sex-based oppression will harm them and, in turn, the wider goals of the Labour Party

Safeguard women's rights to biological women only spaces, refuse to change the legal meaning of the word woman, safeguard women's rights to specified services, respect our existence within the party , maintain the all women shortlist for biological women, sex is protected under equalities law, gender is fictional sex is a biological fact

It is very important to maintain and ideally extend hard won sex based rights for women.

It’s about time, Labour. Please take this opportunity to lead the people of this country who want to give everyone the appropriate protections they need.

I will vote Labour only if their manifesto says they will support women's sex-based rights, and I am not alone.

So very happy to sign this at the same time as being furious that it is necessary to do so!

It is very important that the legal definition of woman remains ‘adult human female’. Women are oppressed all over the world because of our unique physiology and sociology. It is not possible to identify into an oppressed group and neither is it possible to physically change sex. Women need to keep their sex based rights in order to be safe and protect our privacy and dignity.

It would be good if there was one political party that opposed the erosion of women's rights.

Working class proud Miners daughter here. Life long Labour voter. Not any more, I can't vote for a party that will not listen or acknowledge my concerns about single sex spaces, the GRA or males in Women's Officer roles.
