May all our trans allies be heard and understood and may the full impact of the current trans activist zealotry be acknowledged. Here is the remarkable Kristina Harrison articulating everything I wish I could. https://medium.com/@tinaharrison06/my-statement-in-support-of-maya-forstaters-claim-for-belief-discrimination-f09438a23bfc Women cannot move over, diminish ourselves nor allow ourselves to be exploited and controlled for or by men anymore. We’ve stopped allowing our psychic death to happen for the satisfaction of men. Systemic misogyny is seen and stopped. We won’t be silent and all the tactics used to attempt that will fail. Here’s to women being safe in our changing rooms, our rape crisis centres, our domestic abuse refuges. Here’s to women being allowed to compete in sports and all fields of excellence without having to be usurped by men. Here’s to heresy, rebellion and naming what is real.

Women have the right to have an open discussion on this. This should be put to every woman in the country to have their say either way before it's enshrined in law.

The Labour Party have a proud record of supporting women's rights. Please respect them now.

I am almost too afraid to sign this in case I get listed on some TERF list or accused of transphobia. Please, Labour Party, take women out of these dark days so we can be free of harassment every time we talk about our own needs.

I am a New Zealander but wish to comment here if that is OK...how can any political party claim to be concerned with violence to women and than allow the abuse and intimidation of women who are concerned with their sex based rights protection? To stand by while women are called abusive names eg terf and to not say it is wrong to shut these women down through this violence. Any violence against any person is wrong.

Men cannot become women. Men are a danger to women. Women and girls need separate spaces from men, this includes men in dresses. I don't care about your stupid made up ideology. I care about women and children. And we need our rights protected over other people's delusions. The trans rights movement, is a men's rights movement and misogynistic.

I can't believe what I've seen over the last few years. The level of vitriol against women trying to speak, using language common to us all, to assert the importance of our sex based rights. You cannot speak without being slurred and shouted down, it doesn't matter how clearly you show compassion and solidarity with the trans community. It doesn't matter if you are trans! This has to stop. It's desecrating the party, making it a joke among your base - the working class. As a working class woman who has lived in a hostel with a middle-aged sex offender who id'd as female while making no effort to appear female over a ponytail and padded bra, I can only tell you I am disgusted and scared. Also, extremely hurt; never in my life have I been abused for saying I had a visceral, unconscious response to male bodies after I was raped. Never have I been called a bigot for wanting more than a few words to access the refuges, crisis centres and hostels I used in the aftermath of such a devastating thing. Never until I spoke about it with left wing 'trans allies'. It's brutal, misogynistic, it's regressive and in many ways it's ludicrously bourgeois, with graduate activists who boast of their credentials shouting down ordinary, and vulnerable, people. This will not be remembered kindly by history.

I campaigned for Labour in this election and have voted labour all my life, as have my parents. Don't sell women down the river for popularity points.

I am concerned about the way women are being abused simply for expressing an opinion. We are being shut down just for expressing concerns. Trans rights should not come at the expense of women’s rights. Dress how you like, call yourself what you like, live your best life BUT not if it means taking sports places from natal women, not if it means sharing a shower with a girl who does not want to see a penis, not if it means further traumatising a rape survivor. Our concerns are justified and the more you scream at us that we are terf scum, the more concerned we will be.

I've been aghast that only right wing groups appear to be supporting women's sex based rights as I have no faith in their actual agenda; you bring great relief. Thank you.

I am astonished that every candidate standing for leader has openly stated that they wish to allow men to decide they are now women whenever they feel like it-thus abolishing women's right to single sex spaces and destroying the accurate recording of sex based data. They vilify peaceful women meeting to discuss the assault on their rights and call them “hate groups”. The gender cult every Labour MP seems to have joined supports teaching children (via shady lobby groups within schools) that humans can change sex and is committed to “affirmation” of trans identities rather than helping children to accept themselves as they are. Most of these children are girls, many will later discover they are lesbians, not boys! This situation is both a massive failure of safeguarding and entirely homophoboc. Women's rights are not expendable. Lesbians exist and lesbians don’t have penises. Ever. Women and girls are half the population, not an afterthought. Women’s rights are not for politicians to give away. Women’s rights are human rights.

By signing this I am not transphobic but believe in protecting the rights of women born genetically female.

One way to combat this - do not patronise, leisure centres and other businesses which do not provide separate provision for women and girls. hitting their pockets tends to concentrate the mind!

I am so pissed off with the Labour Party right now I’m seriously thinking of leaving but equally I’m waiting to be expelled.

I support women sex based rights. WPUK is not a hate group. We need to have a calm and considered discussion not blatantly wrong accusations. The labour party needs to stop and think.

The Labour Party is supposed to be the party of the people, protecting the most vulnerable in our society. If we cannot protect women and girls we fail. This declaration is entirely in line with the foundations of our party

Trans rights need to be protected but not at the expense of women. We need single sex spaces (not to exclude transwomen but to legally exclude predatory men- which with Self ID would be impossible). Women, lesbians and gay men need to have to right to gather and talk about their rights without being labelled a hate group.

I strongly support the aims of this petition and am appalled at the risks to women any erosion of sex-based rights and recognition could entail.

I can't believe (or perhaps I can) how little people care about women and our rights. I am astounded at how far the trans activists have infiltrated organisations. This is so stressful. What will it take to stop the trans activists causing so much harm to women? I feel hopeless about it all.
