Labour must recognise sex-based rights as inherent to human rights. Biological sex matters. Sex-based rights don’t belong to the Labour party hierarchy (or to anyone else!) to give away on behalf of women.

Enough of women having no political voice even about their own issues, our sex-based rights are at great risk of the trans lobby which is male-dominated. Stop selling us out!!!

Like many women I welcome trans women who identify WITH women. Now worried about many threats emerging out of "Self-ID". There is no discussion, so how can they be addressed? Labour Party member and supporter. Fear I may become politically homeless due to this issue.

I left the party on the election of KS, anti-socalist and anti women, not my party ! Pleased to see this petition supporting sex based rights at last.

Sex based rights please, this is vital for a multitude or records, service provision privacy, family law, reproductive and medical law and treatment etc.

I am facing being politically homeless if the Labour Party do not protect the hard fought for rights of women and girls..... and I am not alone! Shame on all the cowardly MP s and the leaders who have abandoned their moral compasses to appease misogynists!

I am deeply disappointed in Angela Rayner's response to Rosie Duffield and in Keir Starmer's silence on the matter. The painfully won advances in women's rights are in danger of serious erosion by people who would assert their own legitimate rights at the expense of women.

Women’s rights need protecting against a colonising, totalitarian ideology which has arisen by weaponising alleged oppression.

Sex based rights are important for women. They must not be given away.

I will not vote for a party that denies women's rights.

At the moment I just can’t vote Labour whilst they won’t commit to women’s right to safe spaces, sports and women only services.

I am not currently a supporter of Labour but would definitely support you if your stance changed to protect women.
