Sorry but I can't vote for Labour while your policies are so dangerous to women and while you treat women with such utter contempt - allowing males to speak for women as Women's Officers and dismissing legitimate concerns as 'bigotry'

Life long Labour voter who only recently became aware of this nonsense. I will never vote for Labour again until they stop supporting the erosion of women's rights.

Was I having a nightmare or did Kier Starmer commit Labour to self ID?

Yes. Instead Kier Starmer gets on Pink News and confirms Labour commitment to self ID.....or was I having a nightmare?

Time for the LP to formulate real policies for women and assess all future policy for it's potential impact on us.
How about addressing women's unpaid labour; how we are exploited & how to better value mothers & carers in society today?
(And I'm not from Worcester, don't know why it keeps telling me that - I'm Salford and Eccles.)

Having been a Labour supporter all of my life, this is the one issue that is genuinely turning me away from the party. I cannot vote for Labour whilst they’re happy to ignore the needs and rights of women. Women’s rights should not be erased to appease a minority group.

Women only spaces are becoming increasingly unsafe and unable to be relied upon with self identified gender being introduced into them. It is not appropriate and is unlawful and discriminatory to girls and women. Please respect our feelings, comfort and safety levels too!

Women have been oppressed for millennia and continue to face violence and intimidation from male individuals & organisations.
No other oppressed group would be asked to allow their oppressors to define them.
Women must be allowed to define themselves, use language to describe the biological reality of being female and to organise as a political class.

Labour is losing womens votes. We have no other choice than to turn to the Conservatives to protect our sex based rights.

Unlike any other time in my life there feels like there is a war on women at the moment ..... and some women still have their eyes shut to what is happening. Don't leave it to the other parties to speak up for us. Woman and Girls make up 51% of the population. If you are not with us you are against us.

I would vote Labour in a heartbeat if it respected women’s voices, and defended their rights and protections. Until then, though, I am politically homeless.

Womens rights are not lobby groups like Stonewall to give away. I feel misogyny is flourishing again and needs to be checked

I have always voted Labour.
All of my family and most of my friends vote Labour.
I am currently unable to, because the Labour Party no longer recognises the rights of women as laid out in this petition. We will not support a party that does not support our most basic rights.

I resigned my membership in protest at the Labour Party’s shocking disregard for women’s rights but I welcome any initiative that will make me feel able to rejoin

I was a member of the Labour Party and left twice; the first time because of anti semitism but rejoined when actin seemed to be taking place. Left again when MPs such as Lisa Nandy, Angela Rainer, Dawn Butler Ext al were actively attacking women and their rights for believing in scientific fact and the Equality Act. Born into a working class mining community and always a Labour voter. Not now though.
