Spoke today to my female Labour Assembly Member who asserted that TWAW. I've had enough. Labour is making a Tory of me.

I’m currently politically homeless. Policy needs to be evidence based and not driven by interest groups with zero challenge allowed. This is not being accountable to the people you serve

What's really disappointing is how many individuals and institutions have allowed daft, blatantly discriminatory ideology/policy capture so quickly and how scared they are now of speaking out. Always up for sensible debate and ALWAYS here for safeguarding. #WomenWontWheesht #SexMatters #AdultHumanFemale.

There is nothing worse than having to lie about reality, about what we see, hear, experience and know to be the truth. Nobody should have the right to demand from us that we do that. Women are discriminated against on the basis of their sex. Women have specific needs on the basis of their sex. Women need single sex spaces for privacy, dignity and safety. Women and men are different. Women and transwomen are different. It doesn't mean that one is better than the other. It means that those differences need to be taken into account when creating policies and laws and applying them. Women have a right to explain what they need an why. Calling women's needs "transphobic" because they don't align with the need of transwomen is ridiculous. Stop trying to shut down women for talking about themselves and their real life experiences. Stop trying to erase everything relating to women in laws and medical practices. Stop removing the spaces women fought for. Women aren't your play things, we are full human beings, we aren't shield for men against men violence. We aren't tools to be used for the validation of men's feelings. We aren't an idea in a man's head. Women are adult human females! GET OVER IT!

If Labour don’t support women then we will become politically homeless. Supporting women’s rights is not transphobic.

Supporter of trans rights. Supporter of women's and girls' rights. These positions are not mutually exclusive. Those who argue otherwise are aiming to divide us. Dialogue and solidarity is essential to building a fairer world for all.

We need more open and respectful debate and research on the risks to women and girls of the erosion of sex-based rights and protections. We need an end to the shaming, name-calling, assumptions and bullying that have become normalised and the silencing of women that results from that behaviour.

Rosie Duffield is supporting a view that is protected under the Equalities Act. She is also standing up for the rights of homosexuals, who simply cease to exist under a transgender ideology (queer theory) that espouses the view that sex, ie being born male or female, is not real. I am an adult human female. I am not a gender role that can be put on like a cheap suit. How can I as a woman vote for a party which will not recognise biological reality that there are two sexes? A party that prefers to call me a bleeder or cervix haver, rather than refer to me as a women, is not one I can support. You are dehumanising us and taking my rights away. How can I as a human being support a party that is acting against the interests of gays and lesbians? Preferring to call them queer, denying them a right to be same sex attracted homosexuals, and taking their rights away. Shame on you, Labour. Genuine Transexuals need to be accommodated, protected & assisted with dealing with their dysphoria. They need quick access to mental health talking therapies, and the ability to have surgeries if appropriate for them individually. But this needs to be limited to the genuine cases, and any rights balanced with existing protections for women. This whole topic needs to be brought into the open so we can have a proper society wide debate about all these issues without fear of repercussions. It is not transphobic to ask opinions of the wider public, or look at research and statistics. It's time to start acting like adults and have the difficult conversations. #IStandWithRosieDuffield

I have been a member of the trans community and I used to campaign with Stonewall. Now I will not vote Labour or Lib Dem until they abandon their dogmatic and mysogynistic position. Most trans do not deny the reality of sex! Only the loudest do. I will vote Conservative on this single issue if that is what it takes (but please don't make me).

Men retain all the proven advantages (over women) of going through male puberty. It is nonsense to deny these advantages and expecting women to compete against natural born men is unfair at the most basic level and makes all women’s sport pointless. Anyone with any sense can see this.

Keep single sex spaces free from the opposite sexed bodies. This requires clear definition.
