I never said you have to be a super christian with a cape on. Actually, i never said that you have to be christian at all. Matter of fact, let's throw christianity out of this conversation. There, that's better! It's time that society takes a look at the lies being exercised annually when it comes to the celebration of the Easter Holiday.

Let's define Easter Sunday for those that have been mislead. Easter simply represents the resurection of a man in history called by the name Jesus Christ. Stay with me, i'm not trying to convert anyone here, just simply trying to bring an understanding and respect to a day that is very sacred to a lot of people no matter their specific faiths,(i.e. muslim, catholic, baptist, ect.), that has been entirely disrespected by this thing called the Easter Bunny!

Most people in the states celebrate the Christmas holiday. This holiday coincides with that same man in history that goes by the name Jesus Christ. On Christmas participants celebrate by exchanging gifts. This is a symbolic act remembering the birth of this man in history called Jesus Christ. According to history, these 3 men heard that this Jesus guy was born and they believed that he was sent here by some higher being to do great things for the people. They believed that Jesus was a messenger of the highest being in creation (God). So, anyway, when Jesus Christ was born they brought him gifts in celebration. Thus creating the Christmas traditions most Americans practice today no matter their specific faiths or beliefs.

We clearly recognized at this point Jesus Christ was real. What year is it again? Oh, 2017 A.D. Does anyone wonder where this A.D. and B.C. stuff stands for? Once again, I am not trying to convert anyone to practice a certain faith or belief. I am trying to bring an understanding and a respect back to a man in history called Jesus Christ that we clearly recognize existed! The way we continue to record history today is all based off of the life and death of this man in history called Jesus Christ. So, i would have to say that its obvious the man existed. What people believed about him is their beliefs, but we cannot deny that the man existed.

His murder or execution anniversary is on the day we now refer to as Good Friday. Once again recognizing this man's existence. Why was he murdered? I'll tell you. He was murdered just for the same reason so many other good men in history are remembered by; because he wanted peace for all people. He was murdered because people did not understand or respect his personal faiths. This is all according to history! The murderers wanted to make an example out of him. So on Good Friday, according to history, this is the day Jesus Christ was executed brutally on the cross.

According to history, this man called Jesus Christ proved to his executioners that he was a messenger of peace created by the highest being in creation (God), by not only by coming back to life, but escaping from his grave, a cave closed shut and guarded. These events took place on the Sunday (Easter Sunday) right after his death on Friday (Good Friday).

Huh, Listen i didn't write history, i just simply study it so i have an understanding of the world we live in today. We all know there are different faiths and beliefs. I am not asking anyone to find a new hobby in religion!

I am asking for support in Easter being recognized for what it is by society.

WE SHOULD ALL BE ABLE TO AGREE IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH A BUNNY RABBIT LAYING EGGS WITH CANDY IN THEM!

Employers make believers work and do not even recognized the day as a holiday, meaning no compensation for the employee on what some consider the most sacred day of the year.

  • Employers celebrate Christmas as a company, with parties and the exchanging of gifts. Christmas would have no meaning if not for Easter.
  • These holidays should be treated the same if not Easter being more important.
  • For those who do believe, labor on this day should be optional as it is a sacred day of remembrance.
  • Again if employers force believers to work on this day, then they should at minimum be compensated holiday pay.
  • Employers can also come up with a volunteer system for Easter Sunday

We allow other faiths to pray 5 times a day at work because we respect their freedoms. This is Great!

Now we need to recognized Easter for the real day it is and it needs to be considered by ALL a National Holiday in remembering Jesus Christ. Im not saying he was or was not who some claim him to be!

I AM SIMPLY STATING WE RECOGNIZE HE EXISTED!

If this man named Jesus Christ Never died in the way he did (not focused on the why, just the how), then why would we care that he was born (Christmas)? Why are our Calendars and history today based off this man's existence (B.C. and A.D.)?

SPECIFICS ARE NOT MY GREATEST QUALITY IN THE PETITION, SIMPLY BECAUSE THIS IS ABOUT UNDERSTANDING AND RESPECTING THE FREEDOM OF RELIGION.

THE EASTER BUNNY IS AN INSULT TO THOSE WHO BELIEVE!

SOCIETY NEEDS A REALITY CHECK!

The Birth of a man is simply an event, his actions throughout life defines him!
