We, the signatories of this petition, ask the Maltese Government to start talks with the the French Government for the return of La Vallette (Valette) Sword and Dagger - currently displayed at the "Le Louvre" in France, which were taken away from us by Napoleon Bonaparte and his forces after they invaded Malta. We consider these artifacts to be the property of the Malta and the Maltese people and should be returned to its rightful owners.
