I will not visit the museum until this situation is rectified. Really, this is a huge shame, because I have made trips to LA in the past just to see MOCA exhibitions, MOCA is amongst my most favorite institutions, and in the past I've been very pleased with the speed with which the museum rectifies controversies for the good of the institution, and I remain hopeful that this malignant scandal-tumor will be extracted.

MOCA, Stand with your artists, the power and openess of art, and the diverse American public you serve as a public and contemporary art institution. Anyone who stands near, alongside or with Trump's bigotry, hatred and dangerous policies has no place on your board!

This is not about a difference of opinion. This is about making sure that MOCA does not support and thereby empower racist (and sexist and homophobic and otherwise discriminatory and hateful) rhetoric and policies.

this is a museum founded by artist, there is no room for a Trump flack, who peddles hate, and pushes immigrants out of country, on the board

There's no room for anyone supporting Trump's phobias and hate speech in a civilized world. Especially an art institution. Do what's right.

There is a contradiction between being an institution serving a broad public and an association with this person. MOCA, side with your public or lose its loyalty.
