As your future President for our 1L class, my goal and passion are the betterment of our entire class. My goal is to have the class of 2024 graduate the most students from our 1L class; as well as, having the highest GPA that Detroit Mercy Law has seen from a graduating class. Moreover, law school is about developing lifelong connections in and out of the classroom. Together, as your President, we can obtain this goal through dedication, hard work, helping others, and developing thrilling and excellent network opportunities outside of the classroom.

Before attending law school, I served three and half years in the United States Army. In my last year in the Army, I was elected out of 10,000 Servicemembers to be our President for the Better Opportunity for Single Servicemembers. I oversaw the welfare and quality of life of over 10,000 Servicemembers on Joint Base Lewis-McChord. I worked directly for and with the higher leadership of the base, which included the Base Commander and the Three-Star Commanding General. Essentially, I was the voice for all 10,000 Servicemembers.

Moreover, I generated over 100 different recreation and community service events for Servicemembers on the base. I resolved numerous quality-of-life concerns and issues. I remain strong in my values and morals that we are only as good as our weakest link. Therefore, we must stand together, help each other, and only then can we reach greatness.

Together, as your future President for the class of 2024, I will be the voice of our class to the senior leadership at Detroit Mercy Law; whether those individuals be professors, deans, or other law students. As your President, I will represent your interest, concerns, and needs. Together, we can become the best class that Detroit Mercy Law has ever seen.
