Not just appliance factories are open. My company is open because we manufacture bath and kitchen faucets that may be used in a hospital. It’s a corporation bottom line about the dollar. CEO’s are working from home while we risk bringing the virus home to our families.

If the general public should follow cdc guidelines, so should Appliance Park. It’s impossible there. Do what is right governor! Shut it down!

Close the factory. It is not essential. Workers are at high risk, already a covid-19 issue with building 3 with the inadequate protection.

People hate GE at this point and aren’t going to buy their product. They have weeks and weeks on hand of said products. Why are they different than any other business? If they’re worried about losing money then go get a loan like everyone else has to do.

Those appliances aren’t going to be needed when the public boycotts them because the employees were forced to work in a facility that could not provide the social distancing that the President and Covid-19 Task Force has asked everyone to abide by. These employees or family members should be able to bring suit for personal damages against the Commonwealth if they are exposed to or develop the coronavirus.
As the Governor of our state, hard decisions like this are yours to make. You should always side with the safety of human life instead of money.
The same argument should also be made for closing down Planned Parenthood and putting a stop to all the unborn babies who continue to die everyday. Isn’t this horrific pandemic killing enough people without our government putting its stamp of approval on it by allowing it to continue?
As a registered voter who exercises this right I urge you to sign an executive order to close down both of these facilities.

You're allowing my only child to be in harms way due to this pandemic. That in return could harm my 2 grandkids, my daughter-in-law, and myself and my husband since we are in the danger age group, and I'm more susceptible due to lung injury. Our lives MATTER. Not to mention the household my grandkids return to when they're with their mom.

Please stand behind your message Governor Beshear #wereinthistogether or does that not include GE Appliance Park/Haier? Shut it down and protect all of us. Show ALL of KY that we will get through this together and show everyone here that their lives are more important than appliance!
