GEA Haier employee, 65 yr old male with hypertension and tuberculosis history. Other then that good health and fear for myself and other workers for poor working conditions and misleading of working conditions.

Come tour during normal operations. U wouldn t let ur dog in that place. No way is it safe. Pandemic and deaths will only increase.

Many of us at GE a Haeir company either have or have family members at home that have medical issues like asthma. My grandson has asthma and ASD. His life is in my hands. I'm scared for him. Earlier this week the building that I work in was shutdown for 2 days because an employee tested positive for coronavirus. We make appliances nothing medical like masks or ventilators. I beg that you please close us down for the safety of our families and the general public. Follow suit with Ford please.

Please help stop the spread of this virus. Let us be healthy at home. Haier isn’t taking this pandemic seriously and their risking everyone of our lives for their greed. And they don’t want to take care of any of the employees that are at high risk either. We’re having to chose our life or away to pay our bills.

Please Andy do the right thing!! Cases in KY will go up dramatically and more deaths will happen by keeping us open when it's not nesscary! We not only have to worry about our health but our families as well! We aren't frontline workers or first responders!! We need to help them out by staying home!!

I have done everything in my power to do what was asked of me, stay home except to go to work, maintain a 6ft distance from others, not even seeing my grandson for over 4 weeks. But our Governor and GE Haier Appliances demand that 40 hours a week I risk my life for luxury appliances. If and when the 3800 employees get this virus, we will be bringing it to a neighborhood near you. I ask you, is it worth it?

Why doesn't my life matter, why doesn't my family's lives matter as much as convicts, or anyone elses? Why do you think it imperative that we continue to manufacture a product that has an inventory of nearly 2 months overstock? We will remember come election time if you leave is to rot.

If you can give me a legitimate reason other than their necessary then explain their need! If you can give me a GOOD reason other than GREED I will go right along with your decision to keep AP open.

As a worker at GEA/Haier I have been absolutely shocked at all of this. We are NOT essential to sustaining life. Maybe that argument can be made for the long term (several months) but NOT the short term as we try to flatten the curve. ESP with several weeks of inventory on hand. Keeping us open goes against every second of the hour the governor talks each day at 5pm.
