GE now has over 500,000 face masks that should be donated & used by our healthcare professionals in KY. GE is NOT an essential business!

G.e. dishwashers and refrigerators made at the g.e. plant in Louisville Kentucky are luxury and NON ESSENTIAL. They are not being used to help medical professionals keep anything clean. Because they have decided to stay running, they are robbing first responders and other medical professionals of life saving personal protection equipment. It is disgusting that they are able to get away with this. My husband works in the building where people are already sick. Both me and our 6 month old baby are at risk. If he brings home covid 19, it could be deadly to both of us. Please PLEASE shut down this non essential business.

Our lives are being risked simply for corporate greed. People do not need brand new appliances right now, we need to stay home to effectively fight this epidemic. Do the right thing.

It’s hard to close a factory for 3/4 weeks, but it’s heartbreaking harder to close a casket on a loved one.

My mother is an employee who is also at high risk with underlying lung conditions. She is essential to ME not to GE/Haier!

Washing machines are not a priority right now! But my 7 year old daughter, who is riddled with allergens, asthma, and daily inhaler treatments is. Please keep us home and safe!

Should have stayed closed for 15 full days. Opened up too early to start.

This isn't about being essential, it's about them having as much overstock in the warehouse as possible because they fear a contract strike in a few months. They know they aren't going to offer us anything so they're expecting a strike. Haire doesn't do anything for us, they pull 37 billion in revenue yearly but thinks any of us making more than 14 an hour are paid too much. There's so much more I could say but bottom line this is about monew and profit, for all they care we can rot because we're expendable to them.

As listed by the homeland security guidelines, it's up to the state to decide what is considered essential. Governor Beshear, you keep acting like your hands are tied, because GEA is labeled essential, but you're the one who gets to decide what's essential or not. You want the Union and the company of GEA to come to a compromise, but the company refuses to negotiate with the Union on this matter, leaving them out at every turn. GEA has only done the bare minimum of things that they've been required to do, so believe me whenever I say they're only going doing the things they're doing for show. Isnt it funny how they decided to donate masks and gloves once it was brought to your attention that they were hoarding them?

Hundreds in each building are Breathing the same Air and using the same Bathrooms and Refrigerators. Prisoners are being released to protect their health and Nobody willing to protect ours. How do you think that makes us feel ? Think about 3800.00 people leaving work and going to the store for Essentials, spreading this Virus all over the State of Kentucky and Indiana.
