Due to the fact that sports manga have tended to sell poorly in the past, many companies have given up on licensing sports series all-together. This petition was created to end that trend and show that if the series is licensed, that there will be support for it. If you intend on buying the volumes as they're released, please sign the petition to show VIZ that people are more than willing to shell out the cash for a great series like Kuroko's Basketball.
