Born in the "Territory", in between veils, nurtured for my first year by kanaka maoli neighbors, I am of the 'aina but not of blood. I stand in solidarity with your Oni pa'a. Honor to your ancestors who declared courageously, and to you all for continuing the action, with aloha, to take back what is yours to steward.
